Got my second Geocache today GCTFFB, "The Lady in Red.....Skirt". I'm really liking this. The first one was GC15JDA, "Willy Lump-Lump" out near Nathan's house. We went out in the dead of night last Friday night and stumbled around in the dark before we found it, but it was fun. Next I tried one close to my house, GC1JW9E, "L. P. & U.". I got stymied because my iPhone GPS was just not getting an accurate signal, so I couldn't quite figure out where I was supposed to be looking, but I think I will try again, since I've looked at google maps, and I think I have narrowed my search a bit. Last night, my cousin Andy, Troop and myself went out to find GC20TMT, "Bad Hat", near Dagwoods, where we play trivia on Wednesday nights. We didn't find that one either, but it was only placed less than a month ago, so I think that cache is probably gone.
Over all, I'm having a lot of fun with this, and I'm going to keep doing it. I have been thinking about getting a more accurate GPS to help, but I'm not sure yet. It would certainly help a lot, especially in tree cover. We'll see.
