I never seem to have anything to say, so I'll add what I did today while working.
I caught up on some good
Fresh Air interviews.
Jon Stewart from the Daily Show Steve Martin his lastest Novel Zach Braff from Scrubs Ruth Reichl Editor of Gourmet Magazine There are lots of good interviews, check 'em out!
I'll try to list some of my favorites later.
Ok, over the past couple of months, lots of unimportant things have happened, so here is the update.
After having decided that I like getting up early and getting stuff done, I have spent the past 3 weeks successfully shifting my sleep schedule to me getting up at 6:30AM and making Breakfast for myself. I\'ve been pretty happy with this, but it has resulted in me going to bed at 8:30-9:00. This has been easy so far because all my TV shows are on Summer Break, replaced by crap like "Summerland".
I\'ve picked up the pace of my Reading. Still on the slow side, but now I've started putting in my regular hours again. Feel free to look at the Book page to see what I've read lately.
Went to a
DCI event this past Sunday with Leigh and Christi. The Spirit of JSU or something. I had forgotten how much I really enjoy Drum Corp. All of the top Corps were very tight, and put on some challenging drills. Although Madison Scouts and Blue Devils both had their usual share of Screaming solos, I wasn't really infactuated with any of the Music, even Santa Clara. All three's drums kicked buttocks, and the Drills were very fun to watch, and challenging.
We couldn't find Mr. Calhoun, but latter found that we didn't find him because he was the Chief Judge, so he was busy and hidden from us. I wrote him an email, so we'll see.
I want to see Phantom Regiment, the Cadets, and a few others to see what they are doing this year now. I can practically taste my excitement from the year 1989 when Phantom did Dvorak Symphony number 9, and Santa Clara did Phantom of the Opera. Wow, what a great year. Anyway, I'll have to check out some more events and see.
Ok, so I got a site up and running for my Mom to put her eDigital photos up for everyone to see. It's also for others in the family to do so. The site is called
Greene-Genes.com. Yes I realize how cleaver I am not.
