So. New Zealand.
Night one with my BiPAP finished. I have to admit, it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. That's partly because I have to have a very high pressure, and partly because I am normally a stomach sleeper, and that obviously won't work for me anymore. I hope I can get used to quickly. However, despite waking up many times during the night, I think I at least got an hour or two sleep in between wake-ups, so I still feel less tired today than yesterday, even though I slept 2 less hours last night, than the night before. Anyway, we'll see. Hopefully I'll get used to it in less than a week, or else Jonathan will have to deal with me.
MidSouthCon was a blast as usual. The coolest part this year was the disembodied voices of Inigo and Lamarr becoming real people. Not to downplay Cozy Corner BBQ, which is the main impetus of the trip, but we also went to Texas Do Brazil, which is an upscale Churrascaria off Beale Street. Man, it's been a long time since I went to that high quality of a place. Man, it was good. Reminded me of 10 years ago, when I ate that twice a day every day. Good times. There are photos going up on the Eleventh House website for you guys to get a look at.
So, Kindle Update.... I really like it. It's very nice to read and has lots of advantages over a regular book. I highly recommend it, especially if you read a lot and, like me will make up the cost in book cost savings. I managed to crack my screen, though, but since I know myself, I bought the extended warranty, so they are sending me a new one over night. I'm hoping I receive it early enough on Thursday to take it to...
MidSouthCon is this weekend. We leave out Tomorrow night. I'm extra excited, because this year we have 5 Guildees from Eleventh House , My Gaming Guild, that are going to join us. As this is several guys first trip to Memphis, we might spend more time on Beale Street, and other Memphis places than at the Con, but that's ok too.
